The annual Automate show is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year in the automation industry. Both innovative and time-tested AI and robotics technologies will be on display June 6–9 at the Huntington Place Convention Center in Detroit, Michigan.
Once again, we’ll be among the show’s leaders and innovators. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss how our direct drive motors, stages, positioning systems and precision components can solve your problems and drive productivity.
Make plans to visit us at Booth 802. Here’s a small sample of what you’ll see:
- MVC Machine Vibration Sensors. Designed to sense vibrations from adjacent stages and machines as well as reactionary forces or structure-to-stage-base vibrations, three-axis MVC sensors feature robustness construction, easy installation, a bandwidth of DC-300 Hz and a measurement range of ±0.25g. They allow the controller to compensate for unwanted vibrations, thereby decreasing stage motion settling time and increasing units per hour (UPH).
- APK Pickers. APK Series pickers feature a compact, three-axis design and 2G acceleration on the Z-axis, with minimal head-to-head pitch. Equipped with an integrated vacuum shaft, the APK Series offers a variety of Z-axis strokes from 25 to 100 millimeters, Y and Theta fine alignment axes of 0.0048 µm and 0.1406 arc-sec resolution, respectively, and force-controlled picking within ±3g. You can align the picker head without needing to adjust the overall position of the gantry axis carrying the picker modules.
- Akribis-Agito Driver and a Direct Drive Rotary Table. This demonstration shows the high speed and throughput of the APK picker supported by an Akribis-Agito driver, along with the APK’s alignment flexibility — enabled by the Theta and Y axes — using an Akribis rotary turntable.
- Akribis-Agito Driver Input Shaping Demonstration. In addition to seeing the Akribis-Agito driver in action with our APK pickers, you’ll also see its input shaping performance with sensitive loads when the driver and carriage interact with a glass of wine.
