Our ironcore and ironless rotary stages are based on direct drive brushless motor technology. These compact units exhibit high torque and low or zero cogging torque.
These iron core motor and ironless motor rotary stages both feature thin, compact designs — including a pancake unit — to fit constrained spaces, and most come fully integrated with an encoder, precision bearing and housing. Select features also include high slot fill factors, low and high-speed windings, large center holes and precise homing through index pulse.
Available with both low-speed and high-speed windings, the ADR-A Series is fully integrated with an encoder and bearing.
Our most popular rotary motor, the AXD Series features a
thin, compact "pancake" style design with high peak and
continuous torque despite its relatively small motor form
factor. When compared to competitors, the AXD clearly
Another feature of the AXD is its high-resolution optical encoder for providing feedback. This feature contributes to exceptional precision and repeatability.
The ADR-B Series features a similar slot fill factor and torque density as the ADR-A Series but has a bigger center hole when compared to its counterpart.
With its zero cogging construction and thin design, the ACW Series features a high-resolution encoder and low profile cross roller bearing. Together, this creates our highest performing motor based on repeatability and smoothest motion.
