AFC90SMZ Series

The AFC90SMZ Series Z-axis module leverages direct drive technology to provide 55 to 91 N peak force (F_pk) and continuous forces from 20 to 34 N (F_cn), with strokes of 25 or 50 millimeters — all in a compact module. The module’s high torque constant allows accurate and repeatable positioning, while delivering high acceleration and deceleration with exceptionally low cogging. Magnetic spring technology provides effective gravity compensation with support for loads up to 1.5 kilograms. The AFC90SMZ can also be combined with our AFC90 linear stage to form an X-Y or X-Y-Z stage.
